Date & Time
Convert Unix timestamps to readable dates, calculate the time between two dates and translate times across zones. They help developers reading logs and API fields, and teams scheduling work across countries, without the confusion of doing time-zone arithmetic by hand.

Frequently asked questions
Are Unix timestamps in seconds or milliseconds?
Both are common. Classic Unix time counts seconds since 1 January 1970 UTC and has 10 digits today, while JavaScript and many APIs use milliseconds with 13 digits. The converter can detect or let you choose the unit.
Which time zone is used for the results?
Timestamps are always absolute moments in UTC. The tools show them in UTC and in your browser's local zone, so you can compare both. Zone rules, including daylight saving time, come from your browser.
Why can two people see different local times for one timestamp?
The timestamp is the same instant for everyone, but each device formats it in its own time zone. If a result looks off by whole hours, check the zone rather than the timestamp.
